Remember Who You Are: A’ja Wilson on The Jennifer Hudson Show

This week, A’ja  joined The Jennifer Hudson Show and shared a powerful reminder about identity, confidence, and resilience:

“Remember who you are — in the dark moments, that’s when you shine the brightest.”

At the A’ja Wilson Foundation, those words reflect everything we stand for. Our mission is rooted in helping young girls build confidence from the inside out — to know their worth, protect their light, and stand strong even in moments of uncertainty.

A’ja also spoke about the inspiration she finds in the next generation of athletes and dreamers:

“When you can look around and you can see young kids wearing your jersey or even your shoes, that really makes you go — makes you want to be the best that you can be every single day.”

That spirit of purpose and connection fuels everything we do. When young kids see someone who looks like them leading with courage, authenticity, and heart, it expands what they believe is possible. That’s the power of representation — and the heart of our mission.

Because when you see her, you can be her. And when they believe in themselves, the world opens up with possibility.

💖 Representation matters. Confidence matters. Identity matters.
